MotionLab Capture Terms

These terms describe the features and conditions of MotionLab Capture, developed by 1225labo (the operator). The app is in development and limited testing; public distribution and purchases have not started. Check the app and store for final features and pricing when sales begin.
1. The app and applicable conditions
MotionLab Capture is a creative visualization tool for estimating movement from video, reviewing and editing results, and exporting them. Applicable Apple terms and the app license also govern how the app may be used.
We refer App Store users to Apple's Standard EULA. These conditions do not restrict rights contrary to applicable law or that license. See the dedicated privacy policy for information handling.
2. Estimates and limitations
The 17-joint 3D motion estimated from a single video is not a physical-marker measurement. Results vary with filming conditions, clothing, occlusion, overlapping people and the device. Use a fixed camera and review the source footage and quality indicators before using the output.
This is not a device for medical diagnosis, precise body measurement or safety-critical decisions. Hidden-joint completion is a low-confidence estimate, not a measurement of concealed movement. The app does not provide 3D finger or face rigs or moving-camera compensation.
3. Free evaluation
The current configuration provides three successful new video analyses per device, up to 30 seconds each, without subscribing. Free evaluation does not automatically convert into a paid plan. Public availability will be announced separately.
A use is counted only after analysis and project saving succeed. Failures, cancellations and no-person results do not consume a use. Viewing or editing saved projects, recalculating corrections from saved estimates, restoring from JSON and exporting again are not new analyses. Reanalyzing source video is a new analysis.
4. Planned Creator monthly plan
Creator is planned as an auto-renewing monthly subscription. The current configuration permits new analyses of up to 60 seconds each, with no app-imposed analysis-count quota. It does not provide unlimited video duration.
Purchases are not available yet. After launch, review the features, price, billing period and renewal conditions in the app and Apple's purchase confirmation before subscribing. A purchase requires your explicit action.
5. Cancellation, restoration and refunds
Cancel automatic renewal through Apple's subscription management. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Check Apple's interface for cancellation timing and the current entitlement period.
The current configuration keeps editing, correction recalculation, restoration from JSON and export of saved projects available after the entitlement period ends. Restore purchases using the same Apple Account used to purchase.
Refer to Apple for billing and refund requests. These conditions do not limit cancellation, termination, refund or other rights provided by applicable law.
6. Rights in source material and output
You must obtain the rights and consent needed to record, import, analyze, export and share material, including permissions from relevant rights holders and subjects. Do not infringe anyone's image, privacy, copyright or other rights.
Using this app does not transfer to the operator rights you hold in source material or output. Exporting does not extinguish the rights of subjects, source-material owners or other third parties. Check the conditions attached to your material and intended destination.
7. Project storage and export
Projects and video copies stored in the app are excluded from device backups. Export the main MotionLab JSON for work you need to keep and store source video separately. JSON does not include source video, and the operator cannot restore projects from a server.
Export formats and destination tools may require adjustments to coordinates, rigs or continuity. We do not promise complete compatibility or identical playback across every combination of tools. Verify import and playback in your target environment before production use.
8. Conduct and minors
Do not use the app for unlawful filming or surveillance, infringement of others' rights, fraudulent entitlement access or interference with security or safe operation. Do not copy or redistribute the app without authorization except as permitted by law or an applicable license.
Minors must obtain a parent or guardian's consent for purchases and other uses where such consent is required.
9. Changes and responsibility
Features and plans under development may change. After release, we may revise the service to fix issues, respond to operating-system or store changes, or maintain security. We explain significant effects and necessary steps through appropriate channels.
We work to improve quality, but results are not identical across all footage. Our responsibility is determined by applicable law. Changes to these conditions are communicated with their effective date in accordance with legal requirements, including advance notice or consent where required.
10. Governing law and contact
These conditions are governed by Japanese law without restricting mandatory consumer protections or other statutory rights applicable to you. Applicable Apple agreements remain respected, and jurisdiction over unresolved disputes is determined under applicable law.
