Kazusa Pocket Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Kazusa Pocket, the regional information service provided by 1225labo ("we").
1. Scope and service
Kazusa Pocket lets users search and browse information about places, events, transport, weather, disaster preparedness, offers, and other local topics in Kisarazu, Sodegaura, Kimitsu, Futtsu, and surrounding areas, based on public information and our editorial work. It also offers accounts, reactions, and reports about listed information.
These terms apply to use of the service. If we specify separate conditions for a feature or contract, those conditions take priority within their scope. Personal information is handled under the dedicated privacy policy.
2. Listings and official information
We work to keep listings accurate and current, but opening hours, prices, medical services, transport, weather, disaster information, and events can change. Before visiting, booking, purchasing, seeking treatment, or traveling, check the latest official information from the relevant facility, municipality, Japan Meteorological Agency, healthcare provider, transport operator, or other authority.
The service provides reference information, not a substitute for medical decisions, evacuation decisions, emergency response, or official guidance. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service, such as 119 in Japan, and follow instructions from local authorities and relevant agencies. Review trends and editorial summaries do not guarantee outcomes or safety.
3. Accounts and ending use
If you register, provide accurate information and manage passwords and other credentials responsibly. Impersonation and unauthorized sharing or use of credentials are prohibited. Report known misuse through the official inquiry form. Minors must obtain any parental or guardian consent required by applicable law.
To end use and request account deletion, contact us through the official inquiry form. We respond after verifying identity. Reports, emails, logs, backups, and other records may remain to the extent needed after deletion. Please see the privacy policy for details.
4. Reports, inquiries, and other submissions
You must have the rights needed to submit reports and inquiries. Do not include false, unlawful, infringing, harmful, or disruptive content, or another person's personal information that is unnecessary to address the matter. A report is not automatically accepted as fact; we check it as appropriate.
You retain your rights in your submissions. You grant us a non-exclusive permission to use them only as needed to review the content, respond, correct listings, and improve the service. This does not require a transfer of rights for unrelated purposes or unlimited use. Based on our review or these terms, we may choose not to publish content, correct it, remove it, or take similar action.
5. Intellectual property and third-party materials
Rights in the service's text, design, software, photographs, and other materials belong to us or their legitimate rights holders. These terms do not prevent uses permitted by law or authorized by the rights holder.
Facility data, maps, photographs, and other materials are subject to their sources' conditions. Public availability alone does not authorize copying, republication, redistribution, bulk retrieval, or similar uses. Respect third-party rights and attribution requirements.
6. Advertising, inquiries, and external services
Where advertising or sponsor information is displayed, it is identified as advertising. When advertising inquiries are accepted, prices, duration, placement details, payment, cancellation, and other conditions are provided separately before a contract. Sending an inquiry alone does not create a paid contract.
External facilities, maps, booking, sales, authentication, and other services are governed by their providers' conditions. Applications, purchases, and transactions at external destinations are between the user and the provider; a link does not mean that we guarantee those goods or services.
7. Prohibited conduct
Conduct that violates law, public order, or third-party rights; impersonation; false or disruptive reports; unauthorized access; circumvention of authentication or security measures; and interference with the service are prohibited.
Copying, republication, or redistribution contrary to rights or usage conditions; automated bulk retrieval that places excessive load on the service; and harassment of users or listed entities are prohibited. This is not intended to restrict ordinary browsing or legally permitted uses without a reasonable basis.
8. Changes, interruptions, and restrictions
We may change, interrupt, or end all or part of the service where reasonably needed for maintenance, faults, security, legal compliance, or similar reasons. If users will be materially affected, we give advance notice where practicable, except in unavoidable emergencies.
If there is a breach of these terms or misuse, we may restrict use, suspend accounts, or take similar action to the extent necessary for safe operation. Questions about such action can be submitted through the official inquiry form.
9. Responsibility
We make reasonable efforts to maintain service security and information quality, but do not guarantee that listings are complete or current, that they are suitable for a particular purpose, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that external services will continue.
These terms do not exclude or limit liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Nor do they limit liability that cannot be excluded or restricted under Japan's Consumer Contract Act or other mandatory laws, or rights users have under applicable law. Our liability is determined under applicable law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms in accordance with applicable law as the service or laws change. We show the amendments and effective date on the website and give reasonable advance notice where they materially affect users.
Where the law requires consent to a change, we follow the necessary process. Publication on this page alone does not mean that users are deemed to have accepted every change.
11. Governing law, disputes, and contact
These terms are governed by Japanese law, without depriving users of protections under mandatory laws that apply to them. We seek to resolve disputes through good-faith discussions. If no resolution is reached, the competent court is determined under applicable law.
